Four separate knockout holes and color-coded wiring make the Power Box easy to install. A green indicator light shows when the power connection is live. Foam insulation and a threaded lip on the lid keep the outlet dry and weather tight.

Threaded lip for secure connectionA 30 Amp Box is essential for campers who use generators to supply power to their RVs. Here’s a brief guide on how to use it:
- Location and Installation: Mount the power inlet box securely on the exterior of your RV or camper. Ensure it’s positioned in a location that’s accessible and protected from the elements.
- Connecting to the Generator: When you’re ready to use the generator, plug one end of a heavy-duty power cord into the 30 Amp outlet on your generator. Plug the other end into the power inlet box on your RV. Make sure the connections are secure and properly aligned.
- Switching Power Sources: Before starting the generator, ensure that all electrical systems in the RV are turned off. This helps prevent power surges. Switch the generator to the ‘on’ position and let it reach its operating speed.
- Power Management: Once the generator is running and the power box is connected, you can turn on your RV’s electrical systems. Be mindful of the generator’s power capacity to avoid overloading it.
- Disconnecting: When you’re finished using the generator, turn it off before disconnecting the power cord from both the generator and the power inlet box.
Using a 50 Amp Inlet Box ensures a safe and efficient way to power your RV while camping.
