Perfect for seating at the family table, this Acacia Wood Bench 63″ also works in the entryway as a place to put on your shoes and get the kids ready to leave for school, or in front of the couch as a coffee table where space is tight. This bench features a stunning 1.75-inch-thick wood top made of solid acacia wood, and sturdy powder-coated metal legs and base that has been treated for long-lasting use outside on the deck.
Acacia wood is a beautiful hardwood species that is both durable and naturally water resistant even when untreated. Using real, solid wood in the construction means this bench has natural character and variation, including distinctive color variation, knots, or hairline cracks.

Decorating a home or apartment with bar stools can add a stylish and functional element to your space. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how I recommend you decorate with bar stools:

First, I decide where I want to incorporate bar stools in my home. Common areas include kitchen islands, breakfast bars, home bars, or a designated entertainment area.

Then I measure the height and width of the area where I plan to place the bar stools. This will help me choose the right height and number of stools.

Select a style of bar stool that complements the overall decor of your home. Consider the existing furniture, color scheme, and the ambiance you want to create. Popular styles include modern, rustic, industrial, or classic designs.

Determine the Height: Measure the height of the counter or bar where the stools will be placed. To ensure comfortable seating, there should be around 10-12 inches between the top of the stool seat and the underside of the counter. Not only do I consider the height of the stool but also the height of my friends and family. My shorter friends like the shorter size stool! As a result, I buy the 24 inch height to accommodate their size. As a matter of fact, they are just as comfortable as the taller bar stool.

Remember, bar stools come in different heights. So I think about counter height (24-26 inches), bar height (28-30 inches), or extra-tall height (33-36 inches). I carefully select the appropriate height that matches my counter or bar.

I consider the color scheme of my living space when choosing the bar stools. You should choose colors that either match or complement the existing furniture and decor. You should select stools with finishes that match other elements in the room, such as the cabinet hardware or light fixtures.

Decide on the number of bar stools you need based on the available space and seating requirements. Leave enough space between each stool for comfortable movement and interaction.

Once you have selected and purchased the bar stools, arrange them in the designated area. Make sure they are evenly spaced and leave enough room for people to move around freely. Equally important, you can use these stools outdoors. I just bring them in for storage after use, given that these are not waterproof.

Remember, the key to successful decorating is to create a cohesive and harmonious look that complements your existing decor and reflects your personal style.
